Welcome to FlySapa (May Sport & Tourism Co., “we”, “our”, “us”). By using our website, contacting us, or booking any of our services, you agree to the Terms, Conditions & Policies outlined below. These terms protect both our guests and our pilots and ensure safe, enjoyable paragliding experiences in Sapa.

1. Services We Provide
FlySapa offers:

Tandem paragliding flights in Sa Pa

Transportation to the take-off site

Ground support team & safety crew

Photo & video packages (GoPro footage)

Tourist assistance and scheduling support
All service descriptions, requirements, and prices are provided on our website and booking channels.
2. Eligibility
To participate in a FlySapa tandem paragliding flight, customers must:

Be at least 6 years old (with guardian approval)
-
Weigh roughly 30–95 kg (weather-dependent)
-
Not have serious heart, spine, or mobility issues
-
Be able to run 2–3 steps during takeoff
-
Follow instructions from pilots and staff at all times
We reserve the right to refuse service for safety reasons.
4. Booking, Payment & Confirmation

To confirm a booking:

Send us the photo of your passport info page
-
We may request a small deposit depending on the season and demand or if your group is really big (10+ pax)

The remaining payment is typically made on the flying day
For group bookings, special arrangements may apply.
5. Weather, Safety & Operational Adjustments
Paragliding in Sa Pa depends heavily on:

Wind direction and strength
-
Clouds and visibility
-
Rain or storms
-
Mountain conditions
For safety, FlySapa may:
-
Delay flights
-
Change to another flying time
-
Change takeoff site
-
Cancel the activity
All decisions are made by certified FlySapa pilots, our safety director, and our CEO based solely on safety.
Some days may require waiting for weather windows.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Customer Cancellations:

More than 1 hour before flight: Full refund (if deposit was taken) or free reschedule
-
Less than 1 hour: 50% refund of deposit.

No-show: No refund
We understand travel plans may change; contact us early so we can help. It also helps us serve customers like you better by better coordinating timing and other logistics.
FlySapa Cancellations:
Under no circumstances would we cancel a booked flight for no reason. It's our job to serve all the bookings to the best of our ability. We also never accept over-booking (more than our operational capacity). But in unavoidable situations, FlySapa may cancel due to:

Weather (e.g, Rain, storm, strong wind, bad visibility, etc.)

Safety (e.g, customers' inability to run, customers not fully sober)
-
Operational or site restrictions (e.g, can't access the take-off site, obstacles in the landing air approach)
-
Military exercises or missions
-
Legal request from the authority
You may choose a full refund or free rescheduling. FlySapa does not charge any fee for FlySapa cancellations.
7. Liability & Safety Responsibility
By booking and participating in any FlySapa activity, you fully understand and agree that paragliding is an adventure sport with inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to:

Sudden weather changes

Hard or uneven landings
-
Turbulence or unexpected air movements
-
Equipment malfunction (even when properly maintained)
-
Slips, trips, or falls on the take-off or landing site
-
Physical strain during take-off or landing
-
Transportation to and from the flying area
-
Contact with natural terrain, trees, rocks, or other obstacles
By joining a flight, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the activity. FlySapa is NOT responsible for:

Any injury, accident, illness, or death

Loss or damage to personal belongings
-
Property damage of any kind
-
Emotional distress or psychological claims
-
Any indirect or consequential losses
-
Costs associated with medical care, transport, or treatment
-
Delays, rescheduling, or cancellations caused by weather or safety conditions
You agree that:

You participate entirely at your own risk.

You release FlySapa, its pilots, staff, partners, and service providers from all liability, whether caused by negligence, weather, equipment, or any other factor.

You will follow all instructions from the pilots and staff.

You are physically capable of participating and have disclosed any relevant health conditions.

You understand that no safety system can remove all risk from paragliding.
Indemnification
You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless FlySapa and its team from any claims, demands, or legal actions arising from your participation.
8. Photos & Videos
FlySapa often records your flight using GoPro and drone cameras.
By participating, you allow FlySapa to:

Capture photos and videos during your experience

Use these materials for marketing, social media, and website content
If you prefer your media not to be used publicly, please let us know, and we will respect your request.
9. Privacy & Personal Data Protection
We collect only the information necessary to provide safe and efficient service, including:

Any optional notes relevant to safety
