Question 1

1. How much does paragliding in Sapa cost?

Accepted Answer

A tandem flight is 2,390,000 VND (about 95 USD) per person, including round-trip hotel pick-up, pilot, equipment and insurance. Drone or Insta360 video is an optional extra at 500,000 VND each.

Question 2

2. Is paragliding in Sapa safe?

Accepted Answer

Every flight is insured. Our pilots are internationally certified and only take off in good weather. Modern tandem wings fly slowly, stay stable and self-stabilise.

Question 3

3. Can I fly if I've never done it before?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your pilot handles everything; you just take a few running steps at take-off, then sit back and enjoy the view. You get a short, simple briefing before the flight.

Question 4

4. Is there a weight limit?

Accepted Answer

Passengers weighing 20–110 kg can fly, with no height limit. If you are outside this range, contact us about a paramotor flight.

Question 5

5. Can children and older people fly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have safely flown children from age 5 and guests over 70, with child-size harnesses available. Very young children can fly with a parent – please contact us first.

Question 6

6. How long is the flight?

Accepted Answer

Usually 10–15 minutes in the air, gliding down 750 m from the 1,750 m launch to the 1,000 m landing field. On good thermal days it can last longer.

Question 7

7. What should I wear for paragliding?

Accepted Answer

Long trousers and sports shoes with good grip – no sandals, flip-flops or heels. Bring a light jacket in winter. We provide the helmet, harness and, if needed, knee and elbow pads.

Question 8

8. Where are the take-off and landing sites?

Accepted Answer

Take-off is on Ham Rong mountain (1,750 m), reached by our 4WD vehicles. Landing is in a wide, open field in Ta Van village, with shade, seating, toilets and space for friends to watch.

Question 9

9. What happens if the weather is bad?

Accepted Answer

We reschedule you to another time or day for free. If you can't reschedule, you get a 100% refund with no deductions.

Question 10

10. Paragliding vs paramotor – what's the difference?

Accepted Answer

Paragliding launches from the mountain top with a short run and flies on natural wind. Paramotor takes off and lands on flat ground with no running and can fly in more directions. The standard packages cost the same.
